The Retreat Venue

Your venue for the Retreat is the Ammerdown Conference and Retreat Centre which is set amid the beautiful Somerset countryside, and nestled in woods and neighbouring a stately home. Steeped in ‘peace and tranquillity’ the Centre boasts the beautifully maintained gardens and parkland of a country estate with superb views!

As such a comfortable, safe and nurturing environment is provided for those who wish to “withdraw from the cares that will not withdraw from you.” – Maya Angelou.

The Centre is dedicated to hospitality, spirituality and personal growth, the attentive and friendly staff make the atmosphere very special. Experts in hospitality, they also understand the need for discretion and calm.

The delicious meals are freshly prepared on the premises with a focus on wholesome food using organic produce where possible, and always locally sourced. Vegetarian options are provided at every meal, and special dietary requirements such as standard gluten/dairy-free can be provided. Other requirements can be considered but the Centre is not able to cater for severe allergy conditions.

The Centre boasts accommodation comprising 40 en-suite rooms, including 3 rooms specially equipped for those with disabilities.
